A painting in an auction

A month-long exhibition

Jefferson Market #2
Oil on canvas
7 x 5 in.
Sold

This small scale painting of the Jefferson Market building on 10th Street and 6th Avenue is a real standout in the neighborhood. Built in the late 1880's, it is a prime example of High Victorian Gothic architecture and a wonderful building when seen from all angles. A silent art auction is being held at the Franklin 54 Gallery to benefit the organization Equality Now, The exhibit is on view from April 4-26, 2007. For more info e-mail franklin541@verizon.net
